In some cases, you just might get rid of the caps lock and have your wallet and phone completely flipped. I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t understand.
Well it’s not what you think. Chrome is the default web browser on the Chromebox, which is a super-fast Linux-based Chromebook. Chrome is the web browser on the Chromebox, and the Chromebox is the first computer I bought as a kid, and it still works. Google is hoping that having Chrome as your default browser will also be the key to getting rid of the caps lock on chromebooks, and so far, it seems that’s the plan.
Yeah, and caps lock is just one more button you have to press to unlock the Chromebooks, or switch between them. And that’s why I’m starting to lose my mind.
No, caps lock is a key to unlock the Chromebooks, and that key is the same key that is used to unlock the door to your house, and if you want to get rid of caps lock, you can do it on your Chromebox.
This is a nice little tip if you want to have your Chromebooks start to behave a bit more like laptops and not have to be unlocked every time you access them from your phone. So if you want to get rid of caps lock on your Chromebook, you can do it on your Chromebox, using the same key you use to unlock the door to your house.
It’s not that we recommend you use your Chromebooks as laptops, just that if you want to use them as laptops then you’ll need to use the same key to unlock your Google account from your phone.
Apparently, the key you use to get rid of your Chrome keyboard is the same key you use to unlock your Chromebook. I don’t know if that makes sense but it is a big step in the right direction.
Well, of course you can, but in reality, this key is a security feature that lets you avoid accidentally unlocking the Chromebook from your phone. If you use that key only to get rid of your Chrome keyboard, then you’ll have to unlock your Chromebook from your phone, and you can’t use it to access your Google account.
It took only a few minutes of tinkering with the settings to remove the caps lock and replace it with a backspace key, but the process was pretty straightforward. Just remove the caps lock key and replace it with a backspace key.
