I hear a bunch of people complaining about a new service code error that came up on our phones recently. Apparently, this has recently been on-exchange for around $100, and it looks like a few people are having issues. The tech is not able to fix it right now, but he says there is no way to avoid the error on our network.
That is a fair point. It is completely possible that you will have the same problem.

This is a bit of a tricky one to explain. I’m not exactly sure what your problem is. Maybe you’re getting an email with the code for a service that is no longer available. Maybe you’re getting an error code that is different from what the phone is currently set to. Maybe you’re getting a different error code that is not the same as what your phone is set to.
HBO has just introduced a new service code that lets you stream one of your favorite shows for one low price. It may not be as obvious to you, but I have been getting the code for years because I pay for cable and I use Hbo. I have never had to pay for Hbo because my cable bill is always included in the rate. So here’s the thing: cable is a public utility.
To me, cable is a public utility. It gives me access to HBO and all the other channels that I can see, but it also gives me access to a lot of the channels that you can’t. You can see my shows, but you can’t see my shows. That has always been the case with cable, but now you can get this service for one low price.
So if you have HBO and you use Hbo, you can see all the channels that are not included with your cable bill, but you can’t see the channels that you can get for free with your cable bill.
HBO is a different kind of service though, and this is because HBO is in the business of selling shows to pay-TV companies. The company is in fact making money off the fact that people subscribe to their services. If you have cable and you use Hbo, you are effectively in violation of FCC rules by broadcasting HBO’s programming without paying for it.
The FCC has actually tried to crack down on this kind of service in the past, and there is a lot of talk about whether or not this is a violation of the right to access information under Title II of the Communications Act. While it is certainly not a violation of the law, it is nonetheless a violation of your right to access information.
