I’m not sure what Im doing for the gpd xd group. Im a member of the gpd xd social media group and so I love that this weekly series is going on. Since I started the gpd xd social media group, I’ve gotten to know some of the members, including a few well known faces like Ira, Nicky, and Tim. Ira has been one of my favorite people to talk with for the past few months and when he first joined the group, I didn’t really know what to expect from him. He seemed real, smart, and humble.
I like Ira a lot. He seems genuinely nice and down to earth. I thought I knew someone else who would be a good fit for gpd xd, but Ira turned out to be pretty darn good. He seems to be the kind who could get along just fine with anyone. He’s a funny guy and a pretty nice guy, and he does his best to make sure everyone he meets is a good fit.
Because all of the other screenshots show who’s looking at the screen, of course Ira is the one who gets the most bangs. He’s also the one who’s looking at the screen at the moment, and I also think he’s the one who’s doing the least bit of looking at the screen. It’s a brilliant way to get really close to the character of the guy you’re talking to.
Thats the thing I love about this game. It gives me a little peek into, what I like to think of as “the real world,” and lets me put it into some sort of context. This is because Ira is the one who has the least to do with the rest of the world so far. Everyone else in the world is doing things, going places, and having stuff happen to them. Ira is doing things his own way.
Like Ira, you have a choice to make as a player. You can either be a part of the world you know or you can do the things you don’t have to do. The latter is the default, so it’s your choice. One of the things that you can do to make choices easier is to ask a question in a conversation. It’s actually a pretty fun way to get a feel for the character of the character you’re talking to.
In the game, you will be interacting with other players in the same game, not just in the same area or in the same building. So in one of my recent games, I asked a player “what’s your favorite food?” and the player replied “tortellini.” The first question I asked him was “what’s your favorite food?” and then I asked him “what’s your favorite food?” and he replied “tortellini.
