It’s a good thing, because batteries can become pretty complicated if you’re not careful. I know a guy who used to make cars. He’d get a battery for a Ferrari, and then he’d get a battery for his Nissan 350Z. One day, his boss called and said that he had decided to send him a battery for a new Mazda MX5. The battery was to replace a battery that was out of warranty.
This is a problem in battery technology that is only going to get worse. In the early 1980s, the biggest battery company in the world was called Motorola. In the mid-1980s, Apple was founded, but Motorola was the main supplier of batteries for the new iPhones. Then, in the late 1990s, Apple switched to a different kind of battery that was more efficient and lasted longer.
In the early 2000s, a new battery became available. It was more efficient, lasted longer, and was cheaper. It was called Lithium Ion, and it was a big part of the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
