Sprint Will Activate 800MHz LTE Band in 2014
By Fred Salva

I am really glad that Sprint has made a decision to change its orientation and left Wimax behind to start a totally new LTE campaign (well, new for Sprint and not for Verizon). LTE is far more stable, reliable and offers faster speeds, what is really important. The first cities to get LTE coverage will be Atlanta, Baltimore, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City and San Antonio. Also, to make everything work even better, Sprint is going to activate an LTE service over its 800MHz spectrum by 2014. Of course, it?s pretty long wait but great deeds require great sacrifices. The first LTE capable smart-phone is already available at Sprint retailers and online and its named is the HTC EVO 4G LTE. It is the freshest HTC?s creation and I am pretty sure you are going to like it and like it very much. The next fellows with LTE compatibility will come from LG and Samsung.
