Andy Rubin Confirms Stay At Google and 900,000 Daily Activations
By Fred Salva

While WWDC seemed to be the talk of the town this morning, Andy Rubin couldn't help show his lack of care. The Google senior mobile VP took to Twitter this morning to debacle any rumors that he would indeed be shortly leaving Google. He stated that he is very pleased with where he is at and has “no plans” for that. Shortly after he went on to happy announce that Google is up to 900,000 daily activations on Android. It was just two months ago at World Mobile Congress that Google announced it was at 850,000 daily. This shows that while Google is progressively continuing to grow, it certainly isn't pumping out the massive numbers that it was this time a year ago. However, we can't expect Android to take a halt anytime soon. This is just a sign of Google's eagerness to counter anything Apple could come up with today.
